Faluso Fakorede, MD
Dr. Fakorede is an interventional cardiologist and CEO of Cardiovascular Solutions of Central Mississippi and Fusion Vascular Center. In the Mississippi Delta, a region that, like Guam, faced exceptionally high amputation rates, he led his team in educating patients, healthcare professionals, and the broader community to expand screening and promote timely intervention. These efforts were highly effective, reducing amputation rates by more than 80% over four years. His work offers a compelling model for Guam, where we believe a similarly substantial reduction in amputations is achievable. Dr. Fakorede will share his experience and expertise with Guam's medical community to strengthen our limb preservation efforts.

David G. Armstrong, DPM, MD, PhD
Dr. Armstrong is Distinguished Professor of Surgery and Neurological Surgery at the University of Southern California, founder and co-director of the Southwestern Academic Limb Salvage Alliance (SALSA), and founding president of the American Limb Preservation Society. An internationally recognized leader in diabetic foot care and wound healing, he has helped advance multidisciplinary approaches that unite vascular care, podiatry, and wound management to prevent avoidable amputations. His expertise will inform Guam's efforts to build coordinated care pathways that preserve mobility and improve patients' quality of life.

Dr. Juan Carlos. Quiros, MD, F.A.C.C
Dr. Quiros is a board-certified cardiovascular specialist with nearly 40 years of experience in cardiovascular disease and 30 years of dedicated service to the people of the Marianas and Palau, working closely with local physicians, hospitals, and government agencies to strengthen cardiovascular care across the region. With cardiovascular disease closely associated with peripheral artery disease (PAD), he is committed to improving awareness, early detection, and coordinated treatment to help prevent complications and reduce the risk of avoidable amputations. He currently serves as Assistant Medical Director of International Services with Keck Medicine of USC and as a staff cardiologist with Pacific Cardiology Consultants.
